Congregation of Yahweh
The Congregation of Yahweh is a Sacred Name Congregation that resulted from studies with other congregations which held to what they consider the proper names of God the Father and His Son. Their main headquarters is in Milton, Florida. They believe that the form "Yahweh" is the name of God, and that the pronunciation "Yahshua" is the only valid name or pronunciation for Christ the Son, rather than the more Hellenized and Anglicized form "Jesus".[1]
They also adhere to a weekly observance the seventh day Sabbath and the other set-apart appointments commanded in Leviticus 23. The Hebrew roots of their beliefs became important to them because they feel that it aided in their understanding of the Hebrew scriptures and the relationship of the New Testament to the Old.[1]
