Cryptotriton or Hidden Salamanders is a genus of salamander in the family Plethodontidae, endemic to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. Most species in this genus are endangered or critically endangered with Cryptotriton sierraminensis being data deficient according to the IUCN.
