The Czech Republic women's national football team are the official football women's team for the Czech Republic, they are currently ranked 25th in the world . At the moment, the captain of the team is Lucie Martínková, who plays for Sparta Praha.
As of 2003, there were approximately 10,000 women playing football in the Czech Republic and around 95 clubs in the country, the best of which compete in the national league, the Czech First Division (women).[1]
