Dan Hilton
Dan Hilton (born February 2, 1968) is a political strategist and former Executive Director of the Conservative Party of Canada.
Personal life
Hilton was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on February 2, 1968. He was educated at the University of Ottawa, where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and at Queen’s University and Cornell University, where he obtained MBAs, and became a Chartered Accountant.
Hilton is the past Chair of the Scouts Canada Foundation and a member of the Board of Sunora Foods and Leonovus. He has held numerous Board and senior executive positions with several public high technology companies in the Ottawa and Toronto areas. He is currently the CFO of Datawind Inc (TSX: DW)
Political career
Hilton became Executive Director of the Conservative Party of Canada in February 2009. He left this position in October 2013.
