QE operates 87 miles (140 km) of track[2] in Arkansas on a 45.3 miles (72.9 km) line from De Queen, where it interchanges with both the Kansas City Southern Railway and Texas, Oklahoma and Eastern Railroad to Perkins, Arkansas, where it interchanges with Union Pacific Railroad.[1]
DQE hauls around 35,000 carloads a year;[2] its traffic generally consists of forest products, gypsum board, grain, and paper.[1]
