Derek Matheson (born September 7, 1986) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with the Dundas Real McCoys who compete in the Allan Cup Hockey senior hockey league.
Matheson skated collegiately in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) for Morrisville State College. He made his professional debut with the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League late in the 2010–11 season.[1]
