Derek McLean
Derek McLean Born 21/12/1932 in Brotton, North Yorkshire, England
Derek was a professional footballer who played for Middlesbrough FC from Season 1955-56 until he left to join Hartlepool after season 1961-62
He played as part of a prolific forward line that included internationals such as Brian Clough, Alan Peacock, Edwin Holliday and Billy Day and scored 30 goals in 119 appearances.
He retired from the game in 1964 after scoring 16 goals in 89 appearances for Hartlepool United.
