Dhamikarama Burmese Temple (Burmese: ဓမ္မိကာရာမမြန်မာကျောင်း) in Penang was the first kyaung (Burmese monastery-temple) in Malaysia, built in 1803. As the first kyaung in Penang, Dhammikarama is a temple filled with striking features and rich past. It provides a historical evidence of Bamar residence in Penang as well as the retreat for Buddhist devotees. The temple is located at the enclave of Burmah Lane, Tikus Island alongside the magnificent Thai architecture of Wat Chayamangkalaram.
The chief abbot is currently Pannavamsa, who is also the abbot of the Burmese Buddhist Temple of Singapore.
