Donald Elias Zilkha (born 1950/1951) is an American financier, the co-founder and managing partner of Sciens Venture Partners.
Early life
Donald Zilkha is the son of Ezra Zilkha. He received a bachelor's degree in economics, philosophy and history from Wesleyan University in 1973.[1]
Career
In 1994, he bought 85% of Colt's Manufacturing Company, the American firearms manufacturer, for $27 million, and became the company's chairman.[2][3]
Zilkha is the co-founder and managing partner of Sciens Venture Partners.[1]
Personal life
He was married to Valerie, but they had divorced by 2003.[4]
