Plot
At The Drunken Clam, Joe and Quagmire argue, but are calmed down by Cleveland, leading Peter to suggest that Cleveland take up a career as a therapist. His first patient is Mayor Adam West, who voices his concern that he is a psychopath. Back home, Lois nags Peter and he suggests that she talk to Cleveland. But when Lois talks to Cleveland, it turns out that Peter is the root of the problem. Mayor Adam West shows up stating that he had killed nine people and has made shoes out of two ducks. Peter has trouble figuring out how he can be the problem until Lois tells him that it is due to his not working around the house, and he is enlisted to share more activities with her. She tries to teach Peter how to do the laundry and involves herself in his golf game. Fed up with Lois, he considers telling Donna about Cleveland having sex with a stripper at his bachelor party. When he confronts him with his ultimatum, he sends Cleveland running.
Meanwhile, Meg tries to raise money for the prom by selling her Beanie Babies, and Quagmire suggests she take a job with the Transportation Security Administration at the Quahog Airport. On the job, she is taught how to handle the customers with rudeness and without tact. In return, her partner Larry notes that she is the most attractive person there. When she is asked out by Larry, she incurs the wrath of Marla, another agent who wants to be with him. They fight, and Meg gets the better of Marla with an improvised blowtorch from confiscated items, but Marla vows revenge. Later, Larry confronts her about missing security tubs and finds them in her locker, firing her. As Meg turns in her tie and leaves, Larry states that he will miss Meg reminding everyone on why people wear belts.
At home, Donna calls Lois about not having seen Cleveland for two days. Peter tries to deny things, but Lois refuses to fall for it and sends him out to find him. He waits for him at the Mini Mart, but ends up in court for supplying children with alcohol and marijuana. Then, he and his friends play miniature golf. Frustrated, they get some help from pop-ups that lead them to Cleveland's old Deli. As Peter, Quagmire, and Joe head to the old deli, a pop-up references the fans' outrage to Brian's death in "Life of Brian", while pointing out that Brian is not even in this episode. At the abandoned deli, Peter, Quagmire, and Joe look for Cleveland, and Peter gets grossed out upon eating the expired food. When Cleveland comes out of the shadows while mentioning that the deli was one of his failures, Peter apologizes for threatening Cleveland and says that he would not have told Donna, as he does not like talking to her. Cleveland apologizes, saying that he was not properly equipped to be a therapist.
At home at the end of the day, Peter tries to show an interest in how things went with Meg, despite her suspicions that Peter would cut her off. But when Meg starts to talk, Peter rushes the ending, cutting her off.
Reception
