Yogendra Narain
Dr. Yogendra Narain (born 26 June 1942) is a 1965 batch retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He is a Former Secretary-General of Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.[1] The Secretary-General is appointed by the Chairman of Rajya Sabha i.e. Vice President of India and holds rank equivalent to the Cabinet Secretary of India, the seniormost civil servant of the country.
Presently he is serving as Member Grievances Redressal committee at Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) and Member, Board of Directors at Reliance Power Limited.[2]
