Ear-hole fried cake (Chinese: 耳朵眼炸糕; pinyin: Ěrduǒyǎn zhà gāo) is a fried rice cake that is a popular street food in Tianjin, China. It was invented by Liu Wanchun (劉萬春) during the Guangxu Emperor's reign.[1]
Traditionally, it is made of fried rice bread, with yellow rice, topped with mashed haricot beans.
It is known as one of the, the "Three Tianjin delights", (Chinese: 天津的“三绝”食品,Trois délices de Tianjin in French) along with Mahua (snack) and Goubuli.[2]
