Ecodesk is a public database of carbon, energy, water and waste data collected by companies' user managed profiles.[1]

Ecodesk is a live and open data site for business energy, carbon, waste, water and materials of interest information. Businesses create and manage free sustainability profiles, showcasing their existing sustainability data, sustainability targets and news, in an open and easy to use environment. Profiles can be shared with customers and suppliers. For Enterprise Subscribers, Ecodesk is also a tool to map supply chain sustainability performance. This enables businesses to see, through a dedicated dashboard, a complete picture of supplier sustainability metrics. Ecodesk was founded in 2006, is funded by private equity and supported by UK and US Governments.

Services

Ecodesk enables organisations to improve the management and performance of their supply chain and to reduce their inherent risk through the collection and aggregation of sustainability and social data presented via customised dashboards and score cards. Its unique approach of "free data" entry and simple communication differentiates it from its competitors and encourages co-operation and data input at all levels.
