Economic Development & Tourism Committee (Georgia House)

The House Economic Development & Tourism Committee is a 32 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 29 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation that impacts economic development and tourism throughout the state.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The House Economic Development & Tourism Committee is responsible for "economic development, business, trade, and any proposed measures that will effect the presence of tourism throughout the state."[1]
