The Pan I Am
On 9 December 2007, following the split of Larrikin Love, Leeson unveiled his new project 'The Pan I Am' at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, December 2007. Lee stated that the band's shows would be "a step forward from your average concert and will blur theatre, performance and music".[3]
Further shows took place, including a small UK tour, a slot for the BBC at 2008's South by South West festival in Austin, Texas, USA where they performed on the same bill as MGMT and Florence and The Machine as part of Steve Lamaq's BBC6 night, and a New Year's Eve show with Foals and Metronomy. The band released their debut single 'Young god/bad thing' on 10 November 2008. A double A Side single [4] 'Fire Dance/O.R.L.D' was released in June 2009. Although plans were afoot for a debut album,[5] the band split with no announcement.
Camusflage Krokodial
In March 2008, Lee showcased a short play/one-man monologue[6] written and directed by himself, "Camusflage Krokodial" at the London Word Festival.
The play was also performed at the Laugharne Weekend, alongside performances by Patti Smith, Will Self and DBC Pierre.
Poetry and Prose
Leeson has written for a number of magazines, journals, pamphlets and books, most recently contributing to the German KP journal [7] and Punk Fiction [8] (Portico 2009)
He has also been published in print and online in The Delinquent, Alchemy of the Verb, Penned in the Margins, London Word Festival, Charm Offensive, Kunst Projects.
Leeson collaborated with visual artist Jonas Mekas at the Serpentine Gallery Poetry Marathon[9] in Hyde Park in October 2009. The film/poetry performance was part of a 2-day event that featured Tracey Emin, Gilbert&George, Brian Eno, and Agnes Varda among others.
Other works
Leeson appeared in the episode "What In The Name of God..." of Ross Kemp's "Ultimate Force" playing a member of a religious commune.[10]
