El Gaucho (Hebrew: אל גאוצ'ו) is an Israeli steak house chain with 7 branches around Israel, which opened its first branch in 1982.[1]
Menu
El Gaucho got its name from the Gauchos, or South American cowboys.[5] In traditional Graucho fashion, all grilled food is cooked over an open fire with charcoals,[5] and aged before cooking.[6] When ordering, in addition to ordering the type of steak you want, you also order by weight.[7] All food is served over coals to maintain the heat and eaten on wooden plates.[7]
