Evan Barlow (born November 8, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. He last played in the 2013 ECHL playoffs where he won the 2013 Kelly Cup with the Reading Royals.

Playing career

He started his career with the British Columbia Hockey League team, the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in 2003. After two seasons, he started at Cornell University of the NCAA.

In 2009, he signed for the ECHL team Idaho Steelheads, with a brief stay in the AHL for the Abbotsford Heat.

On July 30, 2010, he signed with Finnish club HIFK where he stayed for a month before moving to Sweden where attended a try-out for Rögle BK. They did not sign him and he returned to Finland.[1][2] On September 14, 2010, he joined Norwegian club Vålerenga together with fellow Canadian Mark McCutcheon, but was released from his contract on December 31, 2010, and returned to the Idaho Steelheads.[3]

Barlow finished the 2012–13 season in the ECHL with the Reading Royals (his fourth team of the season), playing four regular season games and 15 playoff contests, to win the 2013 Kelly Cup.[4]
