FC Hermannstadt is a Romanian football team from Sibiu (Hermannstadt in German), founded in 2015.[1]
History
After founding, the club entered in the Liga IV-Sibiu County and after one season they won it and qualified for the promotion play-offs to Liga III. At the promotion play-off FC Hermannstadt met the champion of Gorj County, Gilortul Târgu Cărbuneşti, and they won without major difficulties, 6–1 on aggregate, thus ensuring promotion to the Liga III for the first time in their short history.[2]
