FC Tambov (Russian: ФК Тамбов) is a Russian football team from Tambov. It is playing in the Russian Football National League after starting in the Russian Professional Football League in the 2013–14 season. Despite coming in last in their zone in their first professional season, the team was not relegated, as a team that came ahead of them in the table dropped out for financial reasons. Tambov used to be represented professionally by FC Spartak Tambov.
For the 2016–17 season, they were promoted to the Russian Football National League for the first time.
