FK Jedinstvo is a Serbian football club based in Mali Zvornik, Serbia.
History
The football club Jedinstvo from Mali Zvornik, Serbia was founded on July 2, 1967. The first formed sport association in Mali Zvornik was named Partizan, and later on that base was formed football club. One of the primary names of club were Turbina (according to the hidroelectricity nearby), then after some time club was renamed to Jedinstvo (means unity), name that pictures the multietnical tolerance of this region in that period (there were lot of Serbs,Muslims and other nations who came here to work on building of the hidroelectricity). The most successful period in the long tradition of the club was in the period from 1980 to 1990, when the club competed in the federal rank of the former SFRY, in the Second Serbian League (4th level). The club is the double cup competition winner of the region Podrinje. The most famous player in the history of the club is Milinko Pantić who also played for FK Partizan Belgrade and Atlético Madrid. In early 80's FK Jedinstvo also played a friendly game with one of the four most successful clubs in country, FK Partizan Belgrade led by Momčilo Vukotić. There is also a local rivality with FK Drina Ljubovija and FK Granit Radalj. The club is in good relationship with neighbour club on the other river Drina bank, FK Drina Zvornik. Annually on the Jedinstvo 's ground plays pre-season friendly tournament Čika Aćo i Nenad.
New Days
The club is organized into 4 selections: kids, pioneers, juniors, seniors. Highest result in earlier times was reaching the Zona Drina (4th level) about decade ago (2002). Difficulties started when was granted a ban, which doesn't permit foreign players to play in lower leagues, and big part of Jedinstvo 's first team was made of loaned players from clubs based in nearby Republika Srpska. Also the economical status is very bad. The current rank of senior team is the Mačva county league (5th level). Politic of the club is forcing young players from Mali Zvornik and places nearly town.
