Fahad bin Saud (1923 – 30 October 2006) was a member of the House of Saud and the eldest son of King Saud. He was the second son to be named Fahad since the First son died as an infant.
Early life
Prince Fahad was born on 1923. He was the first son of King Saud.
Career
During the reign of his father, King Saud, Prince Fahad was appointed the minister of defense and inspector general.[1] He was the Saudi ambassador to Greece from the 1964 until 1968.
Personal life
Fahad bin Saud had two wives. One of his spouses was Al Anoud bint Faisal Al Saud, a daughter of late King Faisal. They separated after years of marriage. His second wife was of Syrian origin.
Death and funeral
On 30 October 2006, Prince Fahad died at his house and was buried at Al Adl cemetery in Mecca.
