Ferredoxin:thioredoxin reductase (EC 1.8.7.2) is an enzyme with systematic name ferredoxin:thioredoxin disulfide oxidoreductase.[1][2][3] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

2 reduced ferredoxin + thioredoxin disulfide 2 oxidized ferredoxin + thioredoxin + 2 H+

The enzyme contains a [4Fe-4S] cluster and internal disulfide.
