Ford Typewriter

The Ford Typewriter is a thrust-forward machine, meaning the hammer is pushed forwards rather than swinging up or down. The first typewriters to be made using aluminum in their construction.[1] A "commercial failure,"[2] Ford thrust machines in limited production in 1895 and, due to their rarity, have values of over $13,000 in the present day.[3]
