Francisco Asorey
Francisco Asorey González (March 4, 1889 - July 2, 1961) was a Spanish sculptor. He was born in Cambados, Galicia, and became one of the most important sculptors in Spain in early 20th century. He started working as a religious sculptor in Sarriá, Barcelona, where he studied and Barakaldo, Euskadi. He was living in Madrid for 9 years, from 1909 to 1918, after these years he established in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, where he was working until he died in 1961.
