The Capital Region Ring Expressway (Chinese: 首都地区环线高速公路) is a orbital expressway encircling the city of Beijing in the People's Republic of China. It is planned to be 940 km (580 mi) in length. The expressway is named after Beijing, the capital city of China.
Route
This expressway encircles around the various counties and cities that surround the city of centre of Beijing, with the kilometre posts increasing clockwise. The expressway does not actually reach into the city center of Beijing itself. Clockwise from Juncheng, this is the exit list:
- G9511 Langzhuo Expressway
- Sunjiazhuangxiang
- G5
- G108, Yesanpo Scenic Area, Xihugang Qitan Canyon Scenic Area
- S241, S236, Jiulongzhen
- Heisansixiang, G109

(Temporary Gap in Route)
Currently, the south and west portions of the expressway, from Juncheng to Xiahuayuan are complete. The rest of the expressway is under construction. When complete, the expressway will form an orbital.
