Georg 'Schorsch' Volkert (born November 28, 1945 in Ansbach) is a retired German football player.
He played in 410 games in Bundesliga and scored 125 goals.[1] He was under contract in Switzerland, playing for FC Zürich, too.
The forward won 12 caps for West Germany between 1968 and 1977.[2] He scored 2 goals in his debut.
