George Pinner (18 January 1987) is a British field hockey player. Pinner made his debut at the 2011 Champions Trophy and was a reserve goalkeeper at the 2012 Olympic Games.[1] George, from Ipswich, has played for Ipswich, Beeston and now Holcombe HC.
In June 2012 he was one of seven GB hockey athletes to pose for the centrefold of Cosmopolitan magazine as part of a campaign to raise awareness of male cancers and the Everyman cancer charity. He won goalkeeper of the tournament at the Hockey Champions Trophy in 2016 before heading off to Rio for his first Olympics as the No1.
