History
Initially, the primary business of Giraudi was dealing with import/export within the meat industry. Founded by Erminio Giraudi in the 1960s,[1] the group established itself in Monaco in the middle of the 1970s.
The company has developed and diversified into other domains, notably restaurants concepts and various lifestyle products.[2]
Activities and companies
Meat
Gradually, Giraudi became one of the European leaders in trading and import/export of meat.[3]
The Monegasque group is the primary exporter of French beef, and Dutch veal whilst also being the European leader in the import of hormone-free US Black Angus, Australian and Canadian Black Angus beef.[4][5]
Since 2014, Giraudi became the first importer of certified Japanese Kobe beef into Europe.[6][7][8][9][10]
Each year, Giraudi imports and exports approximatively 90 000 tons of meat.
In 2015, Giraudi launched its own lines of processed meats. These include Gourmet Boutique Burgers, Kobe Kreations and Smiley Meals (in partnership with the Smiley Company).[11][12][13][14]
Restaurant
The savoir-faire related to its roots in the meat industry gave birth to the very first Beefbar restaurant [15] in 2005.[16][17] Since then, Beefbar has become an international brand with restaurants in Cannes, Mexico, Luxembourg, Mykonos and Hong Kong.[18][19][20][21][22][23][24]
Beefbar is part of the Monaco Restaurant Group, a division of Giraudi Group who also owns numerous fine dining restaurants in the Principality of Monaco and abroad (Mozza, Bouchon, Song Qi by Alan Yau,[25][26] La Salière, Moshi Moshi,[27] Beeftro[28][29]).
Monaco Restaurant Group recently branched out other hospitaliy segments and developed its first fast casual burger restaurant called Grubers[30][31][32] as well as the PANTONE CAFE.[33][34]

Giraudi’s lifestyle activity is divided into two companies.
