History
In 1915, Holger Sørensen founded Vejle Caramel- og Tabletfabrik, which was later renamed Dansk Tyggegummi Fabrik A/S. In 1939, the brand name of Dandy appeared for the first time.[1]
In the fifties and sixties, Dandy expanded with new products, including Stimorol. In 1972, Dandy established the existing factory in Vejle.
In 2002, the company sold its chewing gum brands and sales subsidiaries to Cadbury Schweppes. The remaining company became solely focused on B2B activities within chewing gum and had a new name - Gumlink A/S.
In 2009, Gumlink entered into a joint venture with Turkish company Yıldız Holding, and most of Gumlink’s production moved to Turkey.
Today, Gumlink operates through a global network of partners selling chewing gum solutions to leading confectionery branders and retailers worldwide.[2]
