Gunadala railway station is a station situated at Gunadala, a suburb of Vijayawada. It is situated at a distance of 7 km (4.3 mi) from Vijayawada in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1][2] It is situated on the mutual line of Howrah-Chennai and New Delhi–Chennai main lines.
Jurisdiction
The station is under the jurisdiction of Vijayawada railway division of the South Central Railway zone. Most of the trains running on Visakhapatnam–Vijayawada section pass through Gunadala railway station.[3]
Classification
Gunadala railway station serves as one of the satellite stations of Vijayawada railway station.[1] It is classified as one of the six stations of the division which do not handle coaching traffic.[4]
