Happy Christmas to You from Me
"Happy Christmas To You From Me" is a song written and performed by Lynsey de Paul and Barry Blue.[1][2][3] It was released on 28 November 1975,[4] as a non-album single on the Jet Records label.[5] Although the duo had written many songs together, including a number of international charts hits, and were both performers in their own right, this was the first time that they performed a song together as a duet. Even though the single did not reach the UK Singles Chart, it did receive radio play and positive reviews [6] and is still played during the holiday season.[7] The B-side of the single is "Stick To You", a song that was also written and performed by de Paul and Blue. The duet appeared on the various artist album It Takes Two in 1983,[8] and it reappeared on CD on The Singles Collection by Barry Blue in 2002.[9][10] The song was covered by the Japanese artist Microstar (aka Seiki Sato) in 2012.[11]
