"Havana Affair" is a song by the American punk rock band Ramones and was one of the tracks on the band's debut album, Ramones.
Red Hot Chili Peppers version
In 2003, Red Hot Chili Peppers recorded a cover version of the song for the Ramones compilation, We're a Happy Family: A Tribute to Ramones. The band performed the song heavily on their tours around that time. In 2011 as part of Record Store Day, the band released a limited edition version on 7" vinyl. Only 6,500 copies were made. The Chili Peppers cover version was featured as the A-side while the Ramones original version was featured as the B-side.[1]They also released their cover version on their 2012 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Covers EP.
