Health & Human Services Committee (Georgia House)

The House Health & Human Services Committee is a 38-member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 35 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation that regulate the safety and operation of social services throughout the state.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The House Health & Human Services Committee is responsible for overseeing legislation that "affects the conditions of safety regulations and social services for the citizens of Georgia."
