Heather N. West (born July 16, 1977), is an American publicist and the founder of West Levy PR. She specializes in the entertainment and corporate sectors as well as non-profits.
Biography
Personal And Professional Life
Born in Columbia, Maryland on July 16, 1977 to William and Maureen West, she was raised in Columbia until her family moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1991. She attended Lynn University earning a BA in Liberal Arts and Humanities and English Literature in May 1998.
Ms West moved to New York City in 1999 where she worked for Barry Diller at USA Broadcasting until 2001.[1]
She then took a position as an analyst doing prospect research at Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut which established her career in the Non-Profit sector.
In August 2010, Ms West founded West Levy PR in New York City representing several of the donors from her professional experience in the non-profit world.[2]
In July 2012, she was named the Number 1 PR Power Woman on Twitter by The Daily Muse.[3] Subsequently after the publication of that article, a majority of her clientele stemmed from the music and entertainment communities.
