The Heavenly Queen Temple[1][2] is a temple to the Chinese sea-goddess Mazu, the deified form of the 10th-century Fujianese girl Lin Moniang, located in Footscray, a neighborhood of Maribyrnong in Melbourne, Australia. It is Australia's largest Chinese temple and includes a 50-foot (15 m) statue of Mazu imported from Nanjing, China. Construction on the temple complex is slated to continue until 2019, but the main hall was opened to the public by 2015.[3]
