The Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (HICAST) (Nepali: हिमालयन कलेज अफ एग्रीकल्चरल साइन्सेस एण्ड टेक्नोलोजी (हिकास्ट)) was established in 2000 in Nepal. It is affiliated to Purbanchal University and situated in Kalanki, Kathmandu, Nepal. The college is intended to teach and make contributions in all fields of knowledge in agricultural and applied sciences, from the farmer's intuitive knowledge to the sciences, and from the theoretical to the applied. It is in this background that runs with a Mantra 'Agricultural Revolution through Quality Education' . It was previously located in Bhaktapur, but it have been already shifted to Kalanki about 2 years ago, just opposite to the Bhat-Bhateni Supermart.
