House of Cinema (Persian: خانه سینما English: Khaneh Cinema) is Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. Organization was founded in 1989. With about 5000 members The House of Cinema is the biggest independent organization of the Iranian Cinema, with many well known names.
Event
The largest cultural event non-governmental called Celebration House of Cinema (known: National Cinema Day) held by the organization Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture.
Margin
In 2012 the Khaneh Cinema was closed down by Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. One of the first official acts of the president Hassan Rouhani was the re-opening and the announcement to bring forward the reconciliation between Government and filmmakers.[1]
