Hyde Park High School is a Multi-cultural, co-ed secondary school that is located in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. Although Hyde Park High School is a government school, falling under the Gauteng Department of Education, it offers a Matriculation qualification from the IEB (Independent Education Board). This makes Hyde Park High School rather unusual in that it offers the same type of qualification as a private school, but retains the status and culture of a government school.

Hyde Park they prides themselves on what can only be described as a culture of participation. As a school with only +\-800 pupils, they find themselves challenging the bigger schools with ease and in many cases exceeding their standards.
Their sporting codes run across the board and cater to the vast majority of traditional sports men and women. They can confidently state that whilst they have seen several sporting codes challenged by a national level of apathy, they have once again grown these sports into significant entities that rival the levels of participation of yesteryear.
Events in 2010:
- Recently hosting Slovenia as a training base camp for the Fifa World Cup 2010.
- Their Under 15 and First team placing 2nd and 3rd in the 'B' pool in the Aitken and Boden Tournaments.
