The Imhoff or Imhof family is one of the oldest patrician families in the German city of Nuremberg, with branches in Augsburg and other cities. It is first mentioned in the 13th century. The Nuremberg Imhoff family produced several Imperial Knights and were represented on the Inner Council of the Holy Roman Empire from 1402 to 1806, with only short interruptions.
