In 2015, In Stereo auditioned for season seven of The X Factor Australia singing "Style" by Taylor Swift. They made it to the top 12 and were mentored by Guy Sebastian. They were eliminated on 20 October, coming in eighth place.[1]
Post-X Factor
In 2016, In Stereo released their debut EP She's Rock n Roll (on a special contract), which peaked at number 11 on the ARIA Charts. In April, In Stereo toured Australia for their 'Honest' tour.[2] On 1 July, they released their second EP The Speed of Sound, with their Speed of Sound tour having begun on 25 June. They were then signed to Warner Music Group.
