Indian Lake is a reservoir in Marion County in central Indiana in the United States. It is approximately 5 mi (8 km) northeast of Indianapolis. It was created in 1929 by damming Indian Creek, a tributary to Fall Creek.
Prior to the creation of Geist Reservoir in 1943, Indian Lake was the largest body of water in central Indiana. Morse Reservoir was created in 1956 and Eagle Creek in 1967.
