Jakub Vrána (born 28 February 1996) is a Czech professional ice hockey Centre.[1] He is currently playing for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). On November 29, he received his first NHL callup from the Hershey Bears. On December 1 against the New York Islanders, he made his NHL debut. Vrána is number 13. He was selected by the Capitals in the first round (13th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
He made his Elitserien debut playing with Linköpings HC during the 2012–13 season.[2] After the 2014 draft, Vrana signed his first NHL contract with the Capitals, on a three-year entry level deal on 15 July 2014.[3]
