Jasmin Guénette
Jasmin Guénette is a public policy analyst and author. He was born in Montreal in 1972. He holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in political science from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Guénette is primarily interested in political theory, human rights, individual liberties, economic freedom, private protection, and law enforcement.
Career
Guénette served as a part-time coordinator with Liberty Fund and as a program coordinator at the Montreal Economic Institute early on in his career. He later became the Director of Public Affairs at the Montreal Economic Institute. He has also served as Director of Academic Programs at the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University. He is currently Vice President of the Montreal Economic Institute.
Jasmin Guénette is the former president of UQAM's Political Science and Law Alumni Association. He was selected as one of the ambassadors of UQAM as an acknowledgment of his contribution to the development of the university.[1]
Guénette has lectured at the Institute for Economic Studies in Europe, Institute for Humane Studies, Students for Liberty Annual International Conference, McGill University, and conferences at the National Assembly in France.
