Jeppiaar Institute of Technology
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology (JIT) is a technical college in Kunnam, Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 2011 by the Jeppiaar Educational Trust, an organization created by educationist Colonel Dr. Jeppiaar in 1987.
JIT offers courses in mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering as well as computer science and information technology, leading to either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology degree.
The school provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students, and a number of extra- and co-curricular activities such as sports and clubs.
