Jerry Gillespie (politician)

Jerry Gillespie was a member of the Arizona Senate.[1] Gillespie was elected to the Senate in 1988 after defeating incumbent Senate President Carl Kunasek in the Republican primary. He was defeated for re-election in the Republican primary in 1990 by Matt Salmon. Salmon would win the general election and later became a member of the United States House of Representatives. Gillespie died in 2011.
