Jessica Gaudreault (born 18 July 1994 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a female water polo player of Canada.
Personal
Her father is Eric Gaudreault and her is mother AJ Tiwane. She has a younger brother Ryan. She completed third year at the Indiana University, studying Human Biology with a minor in French. She lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
Career
Gaudreault loved to be in the water. After she tried swimming, what was not a success, she switched to water polo when she was 13 years old. Gaudreault’s junior international experience includes gold medals at the Junior Pan American Championships in 2008 and 2010 as well as back-to-back ninth-place finishes at the 2011 and 2013 FINA World Junior Championships. In 2012 she helped Canada to a fifth-place finish at the inaugural FINA World Youth Championships. As a senior competitor, Gaudreault was named Most Valuable Goaltender at the 2015 UANA Cup, confirming Canada’s qualification for the FINA World Championships. Playing collegiately for Indiana University, Gaudreault was named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association All-Conference First Team as a freshman and sophomore. After her first two seasons she had already moved into sixth place on the Hoosiers’ all-time saves list with 444 in 56 games. She was part of the Canadian team at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships.[1]
