Joe Santagato

Joe Santagato is a 24-year-old entertainer from Queens, New York. He has a YouTube Channel called Joe Santagato which has 1.7 million subscribers and over 175 million combined views. He also has two weekly podcasts, a comedy podcast called The Basement Yard and a sports podcast called Veteran's Minimum. He has collaborated with Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock), professional actor and wrestler and is the host of The Rock's wrestling contest called Rock, The Promo. He is also known for his vine account (also called Joe Santagato). Santagato is also popular on social media, often posting pictures with his dog Charlie

Early life

Joe Santagato was born on February 25, 1992 in Queens, New York and raised with his siblings Keith, Shannon and Thomas.[1] His mother was a school secretary at a public school and his father was a firefighter in the FDNY. He retired when Joe was six. Joe attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School for kindergarten, public school for elementary school, and Louis Armstrong Middle School. He then went to St Francis Prep Catholic School for high school, where he was a receiver on the high school football team. From a young age, he enjoyed sports and being in front of a camera. In 2010, one of Joe's friends suggested that he start posting videos on YouTube.[2] He then created the YouTube account "SantagatoTV". In May 2014 the account was renamed "Joe Santagato". In October 2014 he created a vlog account called Extra Joe. In early 2013 the digital journalism platform Narratively published a feature about him and his family titled "The Kardashians of Queens".
