The John Brooks House is an historic house at 12 Nelson Place in Worcester, Massachusetts. The 1.5 story wood frame house was built in the late 1840s by John Brooks, a Princeton native and farmer. The south facade distinctively has three large gables which rise to nearly meet the main ridge line. On the west side is a rectangular ell set at right angles to the main block.[2]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980,[1] at which time it was still the hands of Brooks' descendants, and was one of the only farms still operating in the city.[2]
