Journalists Trade Union of Azerbaijan
Journalists Trade Union of Azerbaijan (Azerbaijani: Jurnalistlərin Həmkarlar İttifaqı - JuHİ) - is a trade union of journalists in Azerbaijan. The trade union organization was established in 1997 by a group of professional journalists in Azerbaijan.
The TU organization is a member of international journalism and freedom of expression organizations such as the International Federation of Journalists, the IFEX network and the Federation of Journalists of Turkey
The organization was registered in the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan on 28 March 2000 and operates by the efforts of 270 active journalists, at the moment.
The current chairman of the organization is Mushfig Alasgarli.
