Kalagnanam

Kalagnanam is telugu language word, which means " Knowlegde of Times". Moreover, this word is also a sanskrit word. The word is exactly the meaning of a 'Prophecy'.

As described so in telugu, this has many authors who foretold the future of the times. Most famous among them are Sri Madvirat Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy and Saint Sarvajna. There are also other people who told kalagnanam are Eswaridevi Matam (the grand duaghter of Veera Brahmam), yadathore subbaraya sharma,[1] Swami Madhavacharya (also called Vidyaranya, the minister of Harihara I) and Dudekula Siddaiah. A brief part of kalagnanam written by Sri Veera Brahmam garu is said to be kept in his matam. A large volume of the predictions are kept under the banyan tree of Banaganapalle. Out of the brief context of kalagnanam a 320 verses or poems are very popular with name "Govinda Vakyas".[2] An original book of this kalagnanam is available at Brahmamgari matam. In this book, including predictions of brahmamgaru, there are also predictions from Sarvajna and yadathore subbaraya sharma.[3] These prophecies are mainly focused on Indian sub-continent and birth of vira vasantaraya[4] mentioned by veera brahmendra swamy.
